I was born and raised in cornfields and Runza’s in a smallish town of Kearney, NE and I love being other people. I am an openly queer, plus-size, type 1 diabetic who loves to search for the most perfect breakfast burrito in town. 

 

Growing up in Nebraska, I was the oddball who couldn’t quite fit anywhere. I was picking dandelions by the goalie posts in soccer, I was basically scream-singing during library time, and don’t even get me started on my relationship to math class. But suddenly, my exhausted parents found a quaint after school acting program at my local community theater and I found a place where all the other weirdos were meeting (somehow I missed the group text idk).

 

Since then, I have starred in the musical that is my life! Graduated high school, went to the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and did theater all the while. What I realized is that being all these other people, is what makes me who I am today. Their stories are a part of “me”.
